Brenham Vacation Part 2

Kara was generous enough to take some family pictures for everyone:

On Thursday we took a day trip to Washington-on-the-Brazos and Barrington Living History Farm in order to change up the pace on vacation. We went to the museum and did a hike.

Learning about the signing of the of the Texas Declaration of Independence on March 2, 1836.

Barrington Living History Farm

Followed by some ice cream at the Bluebell Factory

The kids played Werewolves for quite a long time together a few times! (It was awesome!)

Beautiful scenery from the property

A common sight this vacation: tarantulas (eek!)

It was nice to escape the pandemic a little bit and just enjoy being together as family. It was so fun to play games and laugh together!
