Austin just had his 6-month check-up. He's meeting all his milestones and doing well. He's 25.5" long (9th percentile), 17 lb. 3oz (43rd percentile), and head measurement is 45.8 cm (93rd percentile). Translation: He is a short, fat baby with a huge head. Of all the boys, his measurements are spot on with Bryson's so he will have a very similar build. (And Bryson does have a huge head!)
The pediatrician mentioned that he is a very expressive, passionate baby. Most babies get excited just with their arms, but Austin gets excited with his whole body: shaking and leg kicking. Tonight while giving Austin a bath, Carter and I discussed together how Austin is just like a frog. We thought he was going to jump right out of his bath tub with how much frog kicking he was doing! Austin generally loves his Jumper toy and can really get going bouncing up and down--more so than any of my other boys!
He did well with his vaccinations, always the part that I detest.
